For the liberal west's stability, it is key to create an internal threat, and the spot once filled by communism, hippies, and satanists had to be adapted to be more palatable to a millenial and gen z demographic. Given the brusque turn to the social democratic left seen as the communist threat became irrelevant, there was a dangerous consensus on who to blame by both the social democrat left and the conservative right; the incel man.

The word "incel" means very different thing depending on where you are on the political spectrum, but it regardless serves as an apolitical insult, as it's meaning it's constantly negative. A socialist will tell you they are attempting to strip women of their right of choice, by demanding to be loved, the so infamous "you aren't entitled to a girlfriend" which is a whistleblow to "you aren't entitled to love". A liberal will tell you that they are lazy bums that don't contribute to society and therefore get rejected by it. A conservative will tell you they are weak, feminized men that are an existential threat to the nation. All three create a paradoxical enemy, both pathetic and weak and yet extremely dangerous. But what exactly is the so called "incel"? To put it in simple words, it's a man, typically white, cisgender, heterosexual, who has issues socializing. Yes, that is it. But why so specific, you might ask? Well, my habid reader, there's a huge portion of the left that treats intersectionality not as a way to help those that belong to multiple groups that are discriminated, but as a way to bash down on others for not being successful despite belonging to "priviledged" groups. There have been multiple instances in the LGBT community of POC, and women -mostly women, (overwhelmingly women)- claiming that gay white males are no longer oppresed, or that the LGBT fight is not longer for them. To them, progress isn't about accepting the other for what they are, it's about virtue signaling and flags.

The incel male, which rose conveniently in the 2010s, gave this new social democratic left a natural enemy; a straight, white (it was 2000s internet after all,) obviously male which is unsuccessful. This was a natural antithesis to everything the people that have been injecting identity politics in their bloodstream had been preaching. Because the left has become about speaking, not about acting, they discriminate people based on their apparence extremely heavily. But an ugly white male is priviledged, so why not hate on them? They are fine with reducing themselves to playground insults given the person in question questions them. Ben Shapiro is a goblin (short), Elon Musk is bald (he got treatment, but women only care about genetics!!), Trump has small hands, etc, etc. Let alone the size implications about men's intimate organs that always arise when a man says anything that they disagree with.

The consequential hard shift right in the 2020s has seen the hardline left more volatile than ever. The left screams "fascist" to anything that is slightly less lefty than they are, legitimizing fascism not as an old mistake of humanity, but as a viable opposition of the left as an unintended consequence. The new right has made a brilliant decision (or the current left has made an awful one, that's up to you to choose,) in pulling a master move called "hey, let's sit down and listen to the incels, yknow, because they vote". They did so. Straight white men, specially unsuccessful ones, are increasingly being told by the world that they are a thing of the past, that they are priviledged, and that it's time for them to give up their representation so a 30% of the population can get their 70% media share. Feminism tells this demographic that *they* are the issue, the new right promises a solution (which to be frank, is an empty promise, but still it's better than what the left proposes)
